Leading a Pastor and Entrepreneur Renaissance

We spend way too much time asking, “Who is the greatest basketball player of all time?” What if instead we asked, “What would happen if we put them on the same team?”

We get a glimpse of that during the Olympics, but the same can happen in the Church. What if we asked, “How can Sunday worship set me up for the other six days of ministry in the marketplace?”

What we’re missing is that pastors and entrepreneurs are more alike than they are different. Driven by mission. Always on. Caring deeply about what they do while balancing the challenges of growing teams, shifting strategies, and changing landscapes.

Let’s face it, the Church is struggling. Our voices are stifled. People are coming less and leaving more. Leaders are wearing out as they try to stand in the gap. Pastors were never meant to do it all, they were never meant to do it alone.

At the same time,, every day our people, our cities, are turning to entrepreneurs. These are the moments we’ve prayed for in the Church.

We gather pastors together once a year to explore the meaningful and significant ways they can awaken these Faith Driven Entrepreneurs and Investors sitting right in front of them. How can pastors inspire and guide them to steward their business and finances differently? We can imagine a time when this people group is set apart, fully on mission for the Lord and bringing about his kingdom as a result of understanding how loved they are.
